I am an award-winning drama and fiction writer based in Manchester, UK.
As a TV writer, I have worked in a variety of writers’ rooms, including for DEATH VALLEY, CASUALTY and WATERLOO ROAD (all BBC). I have written a forthcoming episode of GANGS OF LONDON (season 4, Vice Studios for Sky) and I have a number of my own TV drama projects in development with UK indies.
My debut short story collection, Monstrous Longing, was published by Dahlia Books in October 2023 and was shortlisted for the Edge Hill Prize 2024. My story The Savage Chapel won the Cambridge Short Story Prize in 2020.
I adapted ANNE OF GREEN GABLES for Audible Canada, which starred Catherine O’Hara and Victor Garber, and was narrated by Sandra Oh. I also co-created and wrote the first four episodes of historical audio drama DARK HARBOUR.

I am a BAFTA Connect member. My script LONG LOST was on the Brit List in 2022, and I am a graduate of both Channel 4’s 4Screenwriting Course and the BBC TV Drama Writers’ Programme. My plays have been staged in theatres across the UK.
I am also writing my first novel, for which I received funding from Arts Council England.
