I am an award-winning drama and fiction writer based in Manchester, UK. My debut short story collection, Monstrous Longing, was published by Dahlia Books in October 2023. I won the Cambridge Short Story Prize in 2020.

I recently adapted ANNE OF GREEN GABLES for Audible Canada, which starred Catherine O’Hara and Victor Garber, and was narrated by Sandra Oh. I also co-created and wrote the first four episodes of historical audio drama DARK HARBOUR.
My script LONG LOST was on the Brit List in 2022, and I am a graduate of both Channel 4’s 4Screenwriting Course and the BBC TV Drama Writers’ Programme. My plays have been staged in theatres across the UK, and I am currently developing a wide range of drama projects for TV.
I am also writing my first novel, for which I received funding from Arts Council England.
